Sewer Robotics removes concrete after 10 years

April 7 2020

After various failed attempts of different nozzles and cutters, Sewer Robotics was invited to remove the concrete that has been blocking this 400mm sewer main line for the past 10 years.

We used the Sewer Robotics mobile configuration, the R125 robot and WJ125 Water Jet module with a PTC easy power high pressure unit to cut the concrete into small pieces.

In the first few hours, the flow was restored by removing about one linear meter of 100% blockage, exposing crossbores as the possible entry point of the deposits. The remaining concrete on the bottom was removed after.

After 10 years, this pipe was finally unblocked.
